We are searching for a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst specializing in Accounting Systems to provide technical and functional support to our Accounting user community. In close collaboration with various departments, you will be responsible for gathering requirements, meticulously documenting processes, and translating these insights into comprehensive business solution design documents for our technical teams. Given our focus on Oil and Gas Accounting, a profound familiarity with P2 Energy Solutions Excalibur is essential. This role not only demands strong analytical and communication skills but also the capability to oversee small to mid-sized projects or IT initiatives.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate closely with different departments to gather and understand business requirements.
– Thoroughly document business processes, ensuring clarity and precision.
– Translate business requirements into comprehensive design documents for our technical teams.
– Utilize your expertise in Oil and Gas Accounting to bring valuable insights into the solutions design.
– Demonstrate proficiency in P2 Energy Solutions Excalibur and its related applications to provide effective support.
– Showcase your coding prowess in Access Databases, Word, and Excel Macros to enhance system functionalities.
– Manage multiple assignments concurrently and champion change management within the organization.
– Take the lead in small to mid-sized projects or IT initiatives, driving them to successful completion.
– Foster a collaborative environment, contributing excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Qualifications:
– A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Business Administration is preferred; however, a minimum of a two-year degree is required.
– Possess a substantial professional experience exceeding 7 years, with a focused experience of 3-5 years in upstream oil and gas, particularly within Oil and Gas Accounting.
– Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in P2 Energy Solutions Excalibur and exhibit competence in supporting associated applications.
– Display strong coding skills in Access Databases, Word, and Excel Macros, enhancing the efficiency of system operations.
– Capable of effectively managing multiple assignments, exhibiting adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
– Exhibit exceptional teamwork and communication skills, fostering a collaborative work atmosphere.
