Job Description:
This person will provide a consistent, stable and predictable hardware and software client platform for the hosting of the company and Infrastructure team's day-to-day needs/projects. Maintain a minimum of 99.99% average uptime across all platforms.

Certifications: CCNA or CCNP, F5, Juniper or MCSE+ Internet, Palo Alto
Education: Bachelor's degree – they are not picky on degrees

Experience: 

  • 7+ years hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Windows environment
    • in a domain structure with minimum 250 nodes
  • 7+ years troubleshooting experience and maintaining a server/desktop platform hardware from HP and Dell
  • 5+ years experience troubleshooting LAN/WAN connectivity issues
    • including WireShark, Spiceworks, What's Up Gold and SolarWinds
  • 3+ years recent hands-on experience with virtualization platforms – VMWare, Citrix, Hyper-V
  • 3+ years experience in directly procuring, configuration, and deploying servers in a data center
  • 3+ years experience supporting desktops, laptops, and tablets on multiple platforms
    • platforms like: Windows 10, XP, Win7, Win8, Apple iOS 6+, Android iOS 4.1+
  • 3+ years recent experience in directly procuring, configuring, and deploying network devices
  • 3+ years experience supporting VoIP platforms and SIP truck technologies
  • 3+ years of recent project-based supervisory experience over information technology teams (indirect reports OR direct reports)
  • 3+ years experience implementing industry standard best practices in EDI, TLS, IPSec, SFTP, mail encryption, AES-256, and 2-FA
  • Experience with Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls
  • Experience installing Cisco and Microsoft VoIP installations – Jabber, Teams, Skype, etc
  • Working experience of Citrix Cloud and on-premise deployments

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison, interfacing with clients in furthering the company and Infrastructure business/professional services
  • Provide expertise on activities surrounding the operational efficiency of hardware and software client platforms using ITIL and PMP guidelines and industry-best-practices
  • Analyze hardware and software operations and make recommendations to continually improve operational efficiencies
  • Document systems in accordance with business standards and post for the company personnel to use as standard operating procedure documents
  • Identify, analyze, research, and recommend changes to infrastructure, procedures, and processes to enhance client and project productivity, efficiencies and security 
  • Initiate, lead, and complete enterprise-wide projects in a timely and cost-efficient manner
  • Required on-call rotational status for weekend, evening, and holiday coverage
