IT Support Specialist
Are you a motivated IT professional with a passion for problem-solving and a knack for providing exceptional support? We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in Houston!
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our technology runs smoothly. You’ll be responsible for installing and configuring new hardware and software, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing timely support to our users. As we expand, you’ll be instrumental in setting up IT systems for new locations and collaborating on exciting IT projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and resolve IT tickets promptly and professionally.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and systems.
- Write and update documentation for IT systems and procedures.
- Evaluate and implement new software and hardware solutions.
- Manage user accounts and access.
- Collaborate with the IT team and contractors on various IT projects.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a help desk or IT support role.
- Strong experience with Mac OS and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with IT asset management tools (e.g., Samanage/Solarwinds).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Flexibility to provide occasional after-hours support.
Pluses:
- Experience with JAMF and AWS.
