Seeking a highly detail-oriented and meticulous Data Entry Specialist to join our expanding team in Tyler, Texas. This role is critical to ensuring the accurate and efficient transfer of sensitive data related to foster care permanency management. You will be responsible for extracting information from state-based applications and accurately inputting it into our proprietary tracking system, as well as managing data across multiple platforms. This position demands a strong commitment to accuracy and confidentiality, as you will be handling sensitive information related to children and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Extraction and Entry:
    • Accurately extract data from state-based foster care permanency management applications.
    • Precisely input extracted data into the company's tracking application.
    • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to minimize errors.
  • Cross-Platform Data Management:
    • Transfer data between various applications, including state-based systems and the company's proprietary software.
    • Ensure data consistency and integrity across all platforms.
    • Potentially, moving data from the company's application into the state application.
  • Data Verification and Quality Control:
    • Verify data accuracy and completeness through cross-referencing and quality checks.
    • Identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
    • Maintain data confidentiality and adhere to all privacy regulations.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to streamline data entry processes and improve efficiency.
    • Provide feedback on application usability and potential enhancements.
    • Document data entry procedures and best practices.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.
    • Communicate effectively to address data-related issues and inquiries.
    • Maintain a high level of professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data entry or related administrative roles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.  
  • Proficiency in using computer applications and databases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to learn new software quickly.  
  • Experience working with state based applications is a plus.
  • Experience working with foster care, or child welfare systems is a plus.
