Job Summary: The Business Analyst position provides individuals an opportunity to apply their skills in a dynamic 
work environment while developing well-rounded competencies in the clients products and services. As a member of 
the clients Products Team, the Business Analyst facilitates the software change requests to our clients applications and 
technologies and acts as a liaison between the Business teams and the Products team. The Business Analyst 
represents the “voice of the customer”. The position exposes individuals to the complete Software Development 
Life Cycle.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Specific duties and responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate the software change requests for updates to the client's applications and environments:
    • Collect customer ideas and internal change requests for the client's platform on the assigned products that align with the client’s business strategy that allow for future advancement and expansion of usage
    • Plan for feature releases and communicate across the company
    • Assist Software Engineering team in understanding the need and request for change
    • Help the Product Owner in understanding what is a priority for the business 
    • Liaise with Products Owner to develop User Acceptance Criteria for User Stories
    • Liaise with Products Owner to identify and capture the return on investment (ROI) of projects
    • Act as a product expert on assigned tools and monitor incoming issues to navigate follow up action
    • Monitor Azure DevOps to ensure that bugs and Product Backlog Items (PBI’s) are tested in a timely manner
    • Complete meeting notes for applicable stakeholder/project meetings
    • Complete testing of product updates based on assigned products/tools
    • Coordinates the release checklist for large product feature releases to customers 
  • Maintain and grow product expertise:
    • Expert on assigned products/tools, which will be heavy use tools for customers
    • Have a working knowledge of additional products/tools/features in the client's platform
    • Familiar with the Agile Scrum framework 
    • Create and maintain Salesforce Knowledge with product business rules and setup guides
  • Manage additional/multiple projects that run simultaneously
  • Proactively analyze and bring forth ideas for continual improvement
  • Monitor and respond to Product Support Tickets assigned
  • Act as a product expert in Usability Group Meetings, Client Round Tables, and Functionality Review customer meetings
  • Present on new product/functionality offerings to both internal and external customers
  • Organize and lead Usability/Product Deliverable Meetings with customers
  • Support the continued improvement of product and process knowledge of team members through documentation, coordination of trainings and communication on enhancements/feature changes (including bi-weekly recaps)
  • Coordinate customer access to the API and support the client's product integrations to customer internal systems
  • Support technical implementation and maintenance of third-party applications (as applicable)
  • Contribute to Client security questionnaires, requests for proposals/information as needed
  • Support and participate in the organizations’ Continual Improvement Program to conform to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS and ISMS objectives
  • All employees have a professional duty to provide any information related to security issues, incidents or situations that present a potential security risk to the ISO Team, the client's Management or their Supervisor
Requirements
Education and Training
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience
Knowledge and Skills
  • 2+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst role or similar
  • 2+ years’ experience in project management
  • Experience in Agile Scrum methodology preferred
  • Working knowledge of products/tools/features in the client's platform
  • Proficient computer skills in programs including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and e-mail applications

  • Solid analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
