Experience with Power BI and Power Query is a significant advantage, as we are leveraging these tools to enhance our data visualization and analysis capabilities. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, comfortable navigating shifting priorities, and capable of wearing multiple hats in an evolving environment. Key Responsibilities: Own and manage the complete month-end close process. Lead and mentor a team of four direct reports, including an AR Supervisor, Senior Accountant, Accounting Analyst, and AP Clerk. Execute various accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, cost accounting, inventory analysis, and consolidations. Proactively identify process inefficiencies and drive the implementation of improvements. Work effectively in a manual accounting environment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Utilize Power BI to interpret dashboards, manipulate data, and potentially build new reporting tools (a strong plus). Apply Power Query skills for advanced data visualization and analysis (a strong plus). Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects concurrently. Qualifications: Proven experience owning the month-end close process. Demonstrated supervisory experience, leading a team of accounting professionals. Strong background in a manual accounting environment. Hands-on experience with Sage 300 PACC ERP system.
