Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and anticipate the impact of supply and demand changes on natural gas prices.
- Develop and refine advanced models to provide insights into energy market fluctuations.
- Utilize pipeline flow data to enhance the accuracy of fundamental models.
- Stay abreast of developments in oil and gas markets, focusing on US domestic markets and identifying key drivers of supply and demand.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficient knowledge of pipeline flow data and its application in fundamental models.
- Comprehensive understanding of US domestic oil and gas markets.
- Familiarity with oil and gas production and the construction of production models.
- Moderate programming skills with Python.
- Experience with relational databases.
- Some experience using ChatGPT or other Large Language Models (LLMs).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, computer science, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience working in a trading environment.
Requirements:
- Must be a US citizen.
- Preferred location in Houston, TX.
