Location: Carrollton, Texas
Security and home technology company in Dallas Texas is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their growing team. This role is will directly report to the Controller and Assistant Controller. The Staff Accountant will join a team that has grown the last 3 years and will see additional growth this year and next.
Duties of the Staff Accountant include:
– Updating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets
– Post monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals
– Journal entries
– Annual audit projects
– Month end close
– Reconciliations
– Projects as assigned
To be considered for this role you must have:
– Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
– Extensive Excel knowledge
– Balance sheet reconciliation
– Month end close experience with hands on journal entries, allocations, depreciation and amortization calculations
– Held a role as a Staff Accountant in your previous position
