Location: Dallas, TX
Position Summary
From ideation to implementation, the senior product designer will work with cross-functional teams (marketing, engineering, QA, product management, etc) to bring the ideal design solution to fruition. You should possess excellent visual and user interface design skills as well as user-centered design principles. While exercising a keen eye for detail, you are able to communicate highly complex issues and translate them into clean, and user-centered solutions. You will be responsible for researching, designing, and prototyping user experiences based on product requirements. You work great in a team environment with other designers and can help communicate and set priority of work.
In this role you will:
- Collaborate with Business Owners, Product Managers, and Engineers to design the best visuals for our internal teams as well as our guest
- Bring business and end user requirements to life, with a fine-tuned eye for great design
- Create mockups, communicate design choices, and be open for feedback on improvement and iteration
- Document detailed design requirements to deliver to engineers & support the engineering process as needed from concept to execution
- Improve the design of our existing products, helping to create a cohesive, fresh look to our platform offerings
- Develop strong brand connections for multiple platforms, including web apps and mobile apps (iOS and Android)
- Keep up to date on product design best practices and strategy
Key Qualifications
- Proven experience in product design (Examples of working collaboratively on cross functional teams)
- A strong online design portfolio showcasing UX, UI and visual design work
- Experience working with design systems
- Assist in leading growth & development for other designers
- Strong understanding of user testing in the design process
- Confidence in Figma
- Ability to communicate design concepts through sketches, wireframes, and immersive prototypes
- Ability to translate complex problems into elegant solutions
- Excellent knowledge of user centered design principles
- Excellent collaborative skills
- Experience with design systems
- (Not Required—nice to have) Previous experience working on enterprise software
