Job Posting: Senior Financial Analyst

Position Summary: As a Senior Financial Analyst, you play a pivotal role as a strategic partner, analyzing data that shapes key decision-making processes and influences company performance. Collaborating closely with Operations and Corporate Finance, you will be instrumental in producing board and C-suite materials.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Conduct monthly forecast updates for designated business units.
  • Contribute to annual and 5-year business planning processes.
  • Analyze financial and non-financial trends in key performance indicators.
  • Monitor and track financial progress across selected business units.
  • Participate in special projects, project management, and ad hoc analysis as required.
  • Collaborate with business unit stakeholders on priority tactical initiatives to enhance performance.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of business unit operations, markets, strategic priorities, and potential opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators across all segments.
  • Enhance performance by evaluating processes, driving efficiencies, and understanding ROI in new strategic initiatives.
  • Plan integration processes in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Assist in the production of all Board presentations and other board-related materials.
  • Analyze and provide insights on trends and market forecasts.
  • Ensure monthly/quarterly updates and lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of data extraction from databases and data management via Excel (Power Query a plus).

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of business-related experience with a detail-oriented and process-driven approach.
  • Preferred two years of FP&A experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, or Accounting.
  • Proficient in Windows packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, PowerBI, Outlook) and financial systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to seamlessly transition between projects.
  • Ideal candidate possesses advanced financial analysis techniques, report design skills, and strong analytical and interpersonal capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management in various formats (verbal, prose, and PowerPoint).
