Job Summary: The Salesforce Architect – ECRM position is responsible for the execution of large-scale and strategic customer relationship management projects. This role will actively lead the design, build solution components, guide testing strategy, and play an active role in ensuring quality through the development lifecycle.

It requires that one be a self-starter, organized, able to work as part of a team and willing to assist with all day-to-day operations inherent to a rapidly growing organization.

1.0 Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Specific duties and responsibilities include:

  • Translate functional requirements into Salesforce technical requirements
  • Adhering to company security guidelines
  • Design and build high-performance, reusable, and reliable components following Salesforce/industry standards and best practices
  • Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements
  • Identification and pro-active management of risk areas and commitment to seeing an issue through to complete resolution
  • Maintaining effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of team objectives
  • Promote internal collaboration on all initiatives to ensure proper communication and buy-in across all company stakeholders
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of governance, risk management and control processes
  • Serve as a change agent, coach, educator or facilitator within the organization
  • Performs quality control and quality assurance tasks relating to system integrity
  • Provides periodic updates to leadership regarding key processes
  • Support and participate in the organization’s Continual Improvement Program to conform to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy procedures and meeting QMS and ISMS objectives
  • All employees have a professional duty to provide any information related to security issues, incidents or situations that present a potential security risk to the ISO Team, Management or their Supervisor
  • Other tasks and projects as directed by management

2.0 Requirements
2.1 Education and Training

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience
  • Salesforce Certifications:
    • Salesforce Administrator Certification – required
    • Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification – required
    • Preferred: Salesforce Application Architect or Salesforce Systems Architect Certification

2.2 Knowledge and Skills

  • Expert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including development experience in the following Clouds:
    • Sales
    • Service
    • Revenue (CPQ and Billing)
    • Experience (formerly Community)
    • Pardot
  • Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with administrative functions in Salesforce Lightning including user management and security controls
  • Hands-on experience with custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, flows, approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, reports and dashboards, and email generation according to application requirements
  • Hands-on experience with platform automation and custom application development with flows, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components
  • Hands-on experience integrating with other 3rd party applications
  • Experience in design and development of enterprise systems
  • Execution experience in the Agile delivery model
  • Desire to assume increasing levels of leadership responsibility
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
