Position: IT Manufacturing ERP Applications Manager
Role Overview: As the IT Manufacturing ERP Applications Manager, you'll lead the provisioning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and infrastructure systems. You'll manage a team of application administrators and provide comprehensive support for both internal and external stakeholders. Ensuring alignment with organizational core values, you'll play a pivotal role in the technical aspects of project initiation, planning, and implementation, emphasizing a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in application development and support within manufacturing and business processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Customer Service Excellence:
- Supervise and ensure the Application Support Staff maintain exceptional customer service.
- Participate in hiring, evaluation processes, and recommend disciplinary actions when necessary.

Application Management:
- Oversee the development and system management of 95+ applications crucial to production environments, including Docubase, Bartender, Unix, Oracle, and others.
- Provide month-end support to finance and other business units, ensuring timely and accurate reports.

Technical Support and Planning:
- Address performance and system capacity issues, providing recommendations for corrective actions and planning.
- Lead in critical system issues, ensuring timely escalation, team collaboration, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Collaboration and Training:
- Coordinate with various departments for planned application downtime events.
- Manage training and documentation for the Application Support Staff on new and existing technologies.

Service Level Agreement Compliance and Application Lifecycle Management:
- Track service requests, coordinate assignments, and ensure resolution within agreed time limits.
- Maintain the Application Portfolio, making budget recommendations based on application needs.

Knowledge Sharing and Project Methodology:
- Build and enrich the IT knowledge database, mentoring fellow IT members.
- Adhere to the defined Project Management methodology, offering comprehensive technical support across all IT areas.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in UNIX, including system administration, shell scripting, and file management.
- Strong command over Oracle skills, SQLPlus, PLSQL, and familiarity with bar coding principles.
- Experience with ODBC connections to Oracle Databases.
Education, Experience, and Additional Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in IT, including hiring and performance management.
- 7-10 years of demonstrated application development and support experience in manufacturing and business processes.
- Knowledge of various operating systems and desktop technology preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft technologies, networking protocols, and virtualization technologies.
