This position offers significant responsibility and visibility, including full ownership of the financial reporting for a major plant location. You will be instrumental in executing business strategy by providing key financial controls and analysis, interfacing daily with operations management and production staff. Key Responsibilities Assume complete ownership of the Profit & Loss (P&L), Manufacturing Statement, and Balance Sheet accounts for a designated manufacturing facility. Execute month-end, quarter-end, and annual close duties, ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of financials and maintaining strong internal controls. Analyze and report on manufacturing variances from standard costs, driving root cause identification and corrective action with operational partners. Required Qualifications A bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required. Proven progressive accounting experience at the senior level, with a minimum of three years in public accounting or four to five years in industry. Direct experience in a manufacturing or operational accounting environment is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of cost accounting principles, including standard costing, and financial statement preparation/analysis. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
