Location: Texas, Midland Type: Contract Job #11235 Join a dedicated IT Operations team as a Senior Field Support Specialist, where you will serve as the single point of contact for all technology-related matters across assigned field locations. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive second and third-level desktop support for all company hardware and standard business applications, including the installation and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows 11 operating systems. Serve as the single point of contact for all IT-related issues at assigned sites, taking ownership for problem resolution, escalation, and root cause analysis across various IT groups. Install, troubleshoot, and configure multi-function printers (MFPs) such as Xerox, Konica-Minolta, and HP units for network scanning, scan-to-email, fax, and network printing functionalities. Required Qualifications A minimum of five years of work experience in IT support, including responsibility for handling 2nd and 3rd level support tickets. Required experience in core network and system areas, including PC, LAN, WAN, MPLS, Site to Site VPN, wireless, and experience with Cloud-based solutions and DOS-based applications. Proven ability to install and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows 11 and experience with Microsoft End Point Configuration Manager. Willingness to travel 75-80% of the time within a three to four-hour driving radius, which requires a clean driving record and a dependable personal vehicle. Possession of two or more certifications (A+, Net+, Security+, MCP, MCDST, MCSA, MCSE, ITIL, or equivalent) is required in lieu of a degree.
